Weekly Training
Weekly club trainings are held on a regular schedule throughout the week. More information on each training session, what to bring, how to register and what you can expect are found via the event descriptions on TeamUp.
Cancellations
From time to time, sessions may be cancelled due to weather or other circumstances. Where this applies, coaches will cancel the session on TeamUp.
JONSEY REPORT – WOREE CRIT 11/03/18
DECISIVE MOVES IN ALL GRADES LED TO RUNAWAY WINNERS in Sundays CRITERIUMS. IN A DAY WHERE LEADERS DOMINATED THE RETURN TO THE WOREE RACEWAY. GARY HAYDON AND LUKE AZZARPARDI USED LAP SIX TO SPRINGBOARD INTO ACTION IN GROUPS A and B RESPECTIVELY. JOSH RAYNOR and JOHN Duel made their move at lap four in a battle royal in C GRADE. While it wasn’t until the tenth lap that IDAN PIERCY pounced running away with a dominant D grade victory.

QUEENSLAND’S 2018 MASTER’S TRACK NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS WRAP
Queensland’s talented Masters athletes headed to Melbourne last week for Masters Track Nationals, returning with a plethora of medals, state and national records. Over four day of racing, Queensland’s Masters accumulated 14 gold medals, 15 silver medals, 13 bronze medals, 6 state records and 1 national record at the 2018 Masters Track National Championships.
Cairns Cycling Club’s Gabby Thomasz did an amazing job bringing home:-

Summer road series – Gordonvale Race 1 – Jonesy Report
SATURDAY MORNIGS ABC’S CYCLING SEGMENT SUGGESTED THAT Paul Mashford and Bart Duraj would PLAY AN BIG PART in the opening road race of the summer, also adding that Damien Ingram due to a recent holiday to Japan may be underdone, he didn’t take his bike. Well the commentator mentioned the trifecta, however in a frenetic drive to the finish with egg all over Jonesy’s face, it was Ingram who just outgunned Bart Duraj with Paul Mashford an excellent ride back in third spot.

Race Registrations
All race registrations via EntryBoss
- Self-graded allocations at time of registration does not guarantee allocation. They are used only as a guide when determining grades and numbers in accordance with the numbers permitted under the race permit.
- All race division will be held pending sufficient entries.
- Final Gradings are determined based on records of previous results, rider experience and feedback from officials.
