Tuesday
Brumby’s ride
Leaves from Brumby’s Bakery in Edge Hill at 5.25am / 5.30am (depending on the ride speed). Fast 32km early morning run. This ride is for riders confident at speeds of 45kmph at times and sprints topping 60kmph and aware of pack etiquette and experienced with riding in bunches.
Northern Beaches Blast
41km ride leaving 5.15am from the corner of Captain Cook Hwy and Arawa Street. Average speed is 35kmph+
Wednesday
Richie’s women’s clinic
Richie Bates runs a clinic most Wednesday mornings at Smith Park Cycledrome for women wishing to improve their cycling skills and bunch riding skills in a safe and friendly environment. 6am start at 4 Keeble Street. For more info, join the She Spoke Cairns Facebook group.
Thursday
Brumby’s ride

She Spoke
She Spoke Cairns is an informal group of local ladies who get together and ride. There are different bunches for different skill levels leaving 5.15am each Thursday morning. Check their Facebook group to find out the details.
Friday
Edge Hill Bowls Club
Club C grade level bunch ride around 30-32 kmh going south, slightly hilly terrain through the suburbs. Loops back along the highway and Ray Jones Drive. Leaves at 5.15am.
Euro Ride
Club C/D grade level bunch ride around 30 kmh leaving from Elva’s at Cool Waters Caravan Park just off the Western Aerterial Road.
Saturday
The Cappuccino Run
Starts each Saturday morning at 5.30am sharp.
From: Kewarra Beach roundabout and into city via the Captain Cook Hwy for coffee at Villa Romano on The Esplanade.
Return trip leaves 7.00am for Kewarra Beach.
Speed -Moderate to high.
Lights required front and rear.

Villa Romana
Start: each Saturday at 6.30am sharp.
Route: departs Villa Romana- Aplin Street onto Caravonica – Redlynch – Brinsmead – Earlville – Bayview Heights – back to city via Southern Access Road and coffee on the Esplanade.
