The competition is presented by Cairns Cycling Club and sanctioned by Cycling Australia.
Collins Avenue Criterium
Collins Avenue Criterium, or crit, is a bike race that consists of several laps around a closed circuit, the length of each lap is around 1.4km through the picturesque setting of the Cairns Botanic Gardens. Duration and grading will be determined prior to the event and will be between 30-45 plus 3 laps.
Peeramon Road Race
Contested over a 8.0km circuit, the Peeramon Road Race is a kermesse style event. A lumpy course with around 100m of elevation per lap will certainly test the participants as will the winter weather. Race lengths will vary between categories from 5-8 laps and will be determined by the race officials upon final race registration.
All participants must be licenced with Cycling Australia. Presentation of a valid membership is contingent to being able to race.

Atherton Criterium
The Atherton criterum held in a light industrial area the course assumes the roads Comet Ave Eclipse Drive and Fasiolo Circuit. However, do not under estimate this short fast course. This 950m circuit has a little sting in the finishing straight of Fasolio which climbs a little over 10m per lap. Duration and grading will be determined prior to the event and will be between 30-45 plus 3 laps.
