Cairns Cycling Club’s biggest annual event, the Cup on Wheels, has been announced for the first weekend in October. The event has been expanded to include cyclocross and criterium making it a great cycling filled weekend for riders of all ages and various disciplines.
Cyclocross will be held in the evening (after working hours) on Friday at Smith Park. The Cup on Wheels track events will start in the afternoon on Saturday, which will include feature wheel races, keirins, and other track events. Sunday morning we shall be racing at our usual Woree criterium course.
Dates are 5-7 October and more details will be announced as they become available, but for now, pencil it in!
